Having lived in Berkhamsted since 2006, I first heard about The Swan Youth Project when my son was at Ashlyns School and told me what a great place it was to hang out after school. In 2023, I was delighted to join the Board.
As a parent of three teenage and grown-up children, I know how challenging life can sometimes be for young people. That’s why I believe it’s so important for them to have places like The Swan Youth Project — safe spaces where they can simply be themselves.
After nearly 30 years working in communications and marketing, I now work as a coach and counsellor. Alongside this, I run neurodiversity training for parents, teachers and employers with ADD-vance, and volunteer as a counsellor with both The Hospice of St Francis and Juno Counselling.
