Rick Freedman

I live in Berkhamsted with my wife and our two golden retrievers, and also serve as the local councillor for Castle Ward. By profession I’m a qualified management accountant, currently working with the Institute of Cancer Research.

I believe The Swan Youth Project brings real value to the whole community — touching the lives of many more than just the young people who come through the door. As a trustee, I want to see the charity grow its base of regular local donors and supporters, so it isn’t reliant on key grants year after year, while also seeing the Swan improve prospects for young people, volunteers and staff alike.

In my free time I enjoy rock music, stand-up comedy and scuba diving.
