The Mayor visits The Swan ✨

Wednesday was such a special day for all of us at The Swan Youth Centre. We were absolutely thrilled to welcome our Mayor, Councillor Catherine McArevey, to see our amazing new renovations and officially cut the ribbon ahead of our grand opening.

It was a lovely opportunity to show her around, chat about our transformation, and share more about the positive difference our work makes in the lives of young people. We are so grateful she took the time to listen and learn more about our journey.

A huge thank you once again to Lux Property Services and Peabody Community Foundation for making this transformation possible. Their dedication has helped us create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space. We were also delighted to have the Rotary Club join us — it is so encouraging to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about our community.

Days like this remind us how lucky we are to have such incredible support. We are already looking forward to welcoming the Mayor back soon — and of course, we will have more cake ready, as we know she enjoyed it! 🍰
